Description

PLEASE NOTE This appliance is fitted with a continental style gas burner under the base of the oven which results in the hottest part of the oven being the bottom – this will require some adjustment to your cooking method if you are used to a UK style rear burner oven where the hottest part is at the top. It is a must that the oven is preheated for 5-15 minutes (dependent on food to be cooked) and that the enamelled baking tray (if supplied) is placed in the lowest shelf position to deflect some of the fierce heat from the bottom away from the food, you may need to make adjustments to temperature, cooking times and position within the oven that you were previously used to. Despite taking these precautions you may still find that this appliance is not suitable for your needs especially if for e.g. you do batch baking of cakes etc.
